Why go
Bloodlines first, then the steak. Moo Moo's June 2026 menu gives each beef its producer, region, bloodlines, feedlot, days on grain and the animal's age, so the choice is between animals as much as between cuts. The range runs from a pasture-fed Angus cross from Gippsland to Japanese Black from Kagoshima fed for 650 days. The house says it keeps its own dry-aging cabinet and lists up to 20 cuts at a time. It opened in June 2010 in the Port Office Building on Edward Street, a heritage-listed building from the 1880s, and the menu calls it a licensed restaurant of Meat Standards Australia.
