Why go

For the evening when the table wants a steakhouse with all the trimmings, BLACK Bar & Grill puts caviar, raw seafood and a wood-fired grill on one menu inside The Star in Pyrmont. The December 2025 menu lists fullblood Stone Axe Wagyu at marble score 9+ next to grass-fed O'Connor and grain-fed Rangers Valley Angus, so you can order one of each and share them around. Broadsheet's 2026 guide describes the open kitchen and its fire as part of the show, and The Star calls the room a classic steakhouse with wood-fired favorites.
