Bistrot Victoires suits the lunch when you want a plate of steak and chips without a long, costly meal around it. Time Out described its entrecôte-frites as a slab of entrecôte (rib-eye steak) topped with a smoking sprig of thyme, the dish its regulars choose; Paris-Bistro wrote in 2015 of garrigue thyme burnt over the grilled entrecôte and hand-cut chips. The room is a well-kept old bistro, with stucco, mirrors and tables set close, and the dishes are written on a slate. Time Out rated its prices at 1 out of 4.
