Why go01

Hemispheres suits the evening when you want a hotel dinner in Tây Hồ with the lake nearby and a menu that does steak and seafood with equal weight: the Sheraton Hanoi's grill, on the hotel's second floor per its Michelin listing, looks over the Sheraton garden with a partial view of West Lake. The Michelin Guide has selected it every year from 2023 to 2026, and in July 2026 Vietnam News reported the fourth consecutive selection, collected by executive chef Nam Nguyễn at the ceremony. It was renovated in 2024, and the 2025 menu leans on Vietnamese ingredients: lotus tea from Tây Hồ, kumquat from Quảng An, vegetables from Đà Lạt.

03The beef

The beef named in the sources is Japanese wagyu from Hitachi, graded A5, served as sirloin in the Michelin set and as tataki; and Angus for the 500 g T-bone, with no origin stated. The beef ribs are described as prime and oak-smoked. The menu also goes beyond beef, with New Zealand lamb rack, Patagonian toothfish and Canadian mussels.

04The fire

The sources describe grilling, steaming and oven-roasting, oak smoke on the beef ribs and a rare sear on the tataki. None of them names the fuel of the grill.

05The story

Hemispheres entered the Michelin Guide in 2023 and has stayed in it through 2026. It was renovated and upgraded in 2024, and in 2025 a new à la carte menu replaced the earlier global theme with what VnEconomy called a "culinary passport" built on Vietnamese produce. Tripadvisor named it Best of the Best for 2023–2024.
