Prime68 is a special-occasion steakhouse that The National was already reviewing in January 2013, weeks after the JW Marriott Marquis opened: a monochrome room with curved booths and windows 68 floors up. For now the dinner has to wait. The hotel began a renovation in April 2026 that includes Prime68, and in October 2026 its dining page lists the restaurant as temporarily closed. Time Out Dubai still placed it among the Highly Commended steakhouses of its 2026 awards, noting the renovation.
