Lo de Charly is for the hour when most kitchens in the city have closed: it is open 24 hours a day, every day except Christmas and New Year, per Time Out. The same guide describes a classic of more than 30 years where celebrities, taxi drivers and people leaving the clubs share the tables, and the Buenos Aires Herald called it the place to go after a night on the town. The menu is the plain parrilla of the neighborhood, priced for a table that wants to share a mixed grill rather than a single steak.

02The story
Time Out dates the house to more than 30 years ago; Steakpedia found no founding year and no source on who Charly is. In 2023 the Buenos Aires Herald cited an estimate of more than nine metric tons of meat sold a month.
03The practical
Av. Álvarez Thomas 2101, on the edge of Villa Ortúzar; Canal 26 places it in Palermo, other notes in Villa Urquiza. Open 24 hours. No cover charge; tables indoors and outside, and a separate counter at the front for delivery and takeaway. In September 2025 a bill for two with water and flan came to about ARS 50,000.
